Litigation Search provides information on litigation filed against an individual. This service is provided to find out whether there are any litigation suits filed against a particular individual, the nature and details of these suits, and bankruptcy trace. This is particularly useful in determining the credit-worthiness of a potential credit or hire purchase customer or future employee.

For Writ of Summons, the following fields will be provided in the search results, if available.

Name, NRIC/Passport no., Nationality, Address, Date of change of address (if available), Suit No., Date of update, Nature of claim, Transfer Status, Date of Writ File, Date of Document, Date of Summon in Chamber, Date of Set Down Document, Date of Motion Document, Date of Occurrence, Suit Amount (up to five separate amounts), Date of Last Update in Database, Name(s) (Defendant/Plaintiff), ID (NRIC/Passport No/RCB No), Alias, Trading, Status, Solicitor, Solicitor NRIC, File Reference, Firm Name


For Bankruptcy cases, the following fields will be provided in the search results, if available.

Suit No, Summon in Chamber, Final Order, Amount, Release Amount, Originating Suits, Date of Notice File, Date of Notice Serve, Date of Petition File, Date of Petition Serve, Committed Date, Occurrence Date, Date of Hearing, Date of Adjudication Order and Receiving Order, Date of Bankruptcy Order, Date of Rescindment, Date of Discharge, Date of Death, Aged Date, Date of Statutory Demand, Name of Debtor, Debtor ID, Debtor Alias, Debtor Status, Solicitor Name, Solicitor ID, Solicitor File Ref, Solicitor Firm File

Instructions


1. Please begin your search by selecting whether you want to search by Writ of Summons, Suit No. or under Bankrutpcy Cases.
2. Select the type of suit to search: District Court, Magistrate Court, Supreme Court, or any combination.
3. Select to search under Defendant or Plaintiff.
4. Enter the NRIC No. or Name to search by. Please note that if you are searching by Name, it must correspond exactly with the Name reflected on the legal document, otherwise the search will be negative
5. Click the "Search" button to execute your search. You will be directed to the payment page.

Special Tips

1. If you are searching by name, and no results are returned, it could mean that you have entered an incorrect name, or the individual does not have any litigation action filed during the years searched.
2. Negative results are also charged accordingly, as they represent that the individual was free of litigation action during the years searched.
3. Searching by NRIC No. is the most accurate method, and is highly recommended.
